Five, ten or fifteen years ago, this was a great complex. Terrific location, good neighbors and a well-maintained infrastructure. Now -- the location is still great, but many of the neighbors are now transients and seedy types who care more about their beer and booze than about the environment in which they are living. Equally sad is the state of disrepair the complex is in. Roofs routinely leak into apartments. The roofs are obviously originals (25 yrs old) and in major disrepair. No replacement or significant repairs in sight. Only hit and miss patching to buy time. Siding is supposed to look aged/weathered, but this complex looks like it's falling apart. Appliances are original equipment, so if you plan to use the microwave (350 watts), it'll take longer to bake a small potato than you may have left on your lease.

If you're looking at Westchase Park, take a few minutes to check other complexes in the area. They offer more and charge less.

I'm gone when my lease expires.
