The Westchase complex is very poorly maintained. The paint is peeling on all sides of the complex. After the hail damage in May of 2004, I suggested the complex file an insurance claim and have the roof repairs completed. To date, no repairs have been performed to the roof. Several weeks ago, one of the apartments above the model had a fire, but in the passing, no repairs have been initiated by management. However, a nice blue tarp over the roof greets all visitors entering the property.

Our apartment had a run of ants, the balcony is falling off the hinges and there is water between the double glass panes which has remained unaddressed since we moved in. We live on the second floor and water from the roof has seeped into our study den. From looking at the previous repairs, this was noted before, but the hail damage from last year will only compound the problem.

Our neighbors are strange one a religious ?Jesus? freak who hit me today for instant awaking into the beautiful life of Christ. That family has two cars with multiple bumper stickers on each vehicle advertising the Savior effect of Christ as if they were paid by God for the vehicle usage. Other neighbors are roofers and general contracts who have performed work in the area. They live on the corner and often have trucks, ladders stuck under the trucks to prevent theft, etc. From my perspective, most people I have seen tend to stay only for three months and then they are gone.

While the office management gave us a great deal to stay here, the office management has changed personnel at least every two months. My letter to corporate about the general building maintenance and guidelines has not been answered.

The pool is nice, but somewhat uncontrolled. People will party in the pool well past midnight, so if your bedroom faces the pool, it is hard to get a decent night?s sleep.
