This just dawned on me. They are High Class Slum Lords and they know they suck rocks. They charge the high prices and promise the best for it but only leave you hanging. I moved in late last year and told them, in writing, what needed to be fixed. They have only done about half.
They now have a Legal Notice to Stop Work on the construction they had going on in the Frence Village. The Roofers are not supposed to come back because someone found out that not all their employees had a green card. From what I heard, some did and some did not.
The Legal Notice states article 9 section 115 dated 7-11-05. But there are several things they got cited for. It is left to believe that not all the permits that were required were obtained before hand.
3 of the outdoor pools are still NOT open. They say it is because since they are under new management so they have to bring it up to code by putting extra fencing around the pools. But instead of getting something in before the pools were supposed to open, they decided on getting fancy wrought iron fencing that is expensive and takes time to make. So here we sit, middle of July, and only one outdoor pool and the indoor one for the ENTIRE complex, which is over 550 units, counting the ones they are trying to sell as condos.
They repeatedly ignore tenants requests to call before entering a unit before work is done. When I have called, I have told them strickly to call me before entering my home. They 90% do not. And when I have told them to call and let me know what the problem was and what they did to fix it, I get nothing.
