When we moved in here we were told that our carpet was not going to be replaced even though it was in horrible condition. The agreement was that they would steam clean it for free and then when we moved out we would not be charged for the stains that eventually showed through. Well we were charged for the carpet. Its like no one in the office writes anything down. There have been several occasions where we talked to someone about something and then a week later it is like it was never said. I am not understanding what kind of management they have there. You better have a tape recorder if you want anything to be remembered.

They tried to charge us $600 ($300 after they applied our deposit) for the basement carpet, which they said smelled of animal urine. We had a puppy, but she was never allowed in the basement because we could not keep an eye on her. It took several aggitated phone calls before the manager took the carpet people back to the apartment and pulled back the carpet...they found no pet stains, but they did realize that they did not change the wooden tack strips around the wall when they put down that new carpet and they also checked and found the people before us had cats. We finally got our deposit back. argh!!!
