When we moved in here, we had no idea we were moving in to a construction zone. A week after our move, our windows were covered and a company started painting the outside of the apartments. This lasted for about a month and there were constantly people on our deck and all around outside every window. So, we did not see daylight in over a month. They moved some of our furniture we had under the extended roof part on our deck out in rain. So a new table and chairs were totally ruined. The tree trimming compamy dropped a tree on the satelite dish and we were without TV until the satelite company came and repaired it for $ we had to pay. Oh yeah, it is also very nice to stand in the shower covered in soap and the water gets turned off without any warning. It is not possible to sleep past 6.30 am when the bulldozers start rolling in and the wood chippers are placed outside the bedroom window. When we called the office, they told us we just had to deal with it. It is also fun to not be able to get into your apartment when they remove the steps to your front door without warning.
The whole area is a muddy mess, you can not even take a nice walk around the neighborhood without coming back covered in mud. We have repeatedly tried to call the office, and the manager Lynn Wilkinson avoids our calls and makes promises that are not kept.
The compensation they offered after almost a year of living in hell, was ONE free drink at the local bar. They refused to pay us back for all the nights in hotels, and the ruined property. We are currently in the process of contacting our lawyers, don't let them put you in the same situation. They are not done with the construction, and this will be going on for God knows how long. They still have massive interior work to be done, and you never know if it will be the apartment next to yours.
In conclusion, this is the worst place you could possibly put your money into.
