There are tons of reasons why I can tell you not to live here. I wouldn't even know where to begin.
But the one that I can not emphasize enough is: if you have pets, YOU WILL NEVER SEE YOUR DEPOSIT EVER AGAIN. They will claim that your pets damaged the carpet and you will be charged the full replacement fee.
What a HORRIBLE renting experience I had with this company. The list of complaints is never-ending.

We lived there a few years ago when they started rehabing the place and experienced the same problem. They said our basement carpet smelled like dog urine, but we never allowed our pet in the basement. We had to argue with them until they agreed to have the carpet people pull up the corner of the carpet to look underneath and there were no urine stains. They told us that the person before us had cats, so that must be what they were smelling. (there was no 'smell' in our basement) They agreed to give our deposit back, but it was rough going until then.

It would take me hours to list them, it really would. The heating and air units are HORRIBLE and literally run non-stop and don't even keep your home at the temperature you want. The carpet in my unit was soooo horribly old and thin and when I moved out they charged me like it was brand new, for damage that was caused by BROKEN PIPES (they claimed it was pet damage). Prior to my moving in, they had a month to ready my apartment (it was completely vacant) and come move-in day, oops, we forgot have the carpets cleaned. What's that? You already have the moving truck rented and loaded? Guess you're moving onto wet carpet. One of my roommates moved out while I was there and they signed the release form and everything. All statements from the office, including the final move-out bill of the carpet charges, STILL HAD that roommates' name all over it, even though they were so adamant about getting them removed. I would have packages delivered to the office while I was not at home, and even on the UPS/FedEx websites it would list the name of the person who signed for them -- I'd go to the office to see if I had any packages -- Nope! Nothing for you here.
And I could keep going. But there's just a taste.
