If you really want to live in West County, but don't want to pay $1000 a month, this is about your only choice. I have a two bedroom, 1 and 1/2 bath townhouse with basement for $770 a month. Sounds like a great deal considering the location, but location is the only benefit this complex offers. Traffic is horrible on Olive, and turning left out of the complex can be a nightmare during peak traffic hours. Parking is equally bad, since when they built the place in the 1960s most folks only had one car. Many of the units around mine have 3 or 4 cars. There are no reserved spaces, so if you get home in the evening, you may not be able to park anywhere near your unit. Noise is minimal from the adjacent units, but the windows are paper thin, so you can hear the tiniest sound from outside. Because of the old, thin windows, heating and cooling costs a fortune. The fixtures, cabinets, etc, are old and cheap. Every door and cabinet is coated in ugly brown paint. The stove and fridge are functional, but older...no self-cleaning ovens here. The gounds are not kept up very well, but not helping that problem are the residents - candy wrappers, cigarette butts, etc. litter the parking lots. There are a couple candy wrappers by my door that have been there for weeks. The trash dumpsters are convenient, but are also in plain view. It's not an appealing thing to look out your front window at the trash dumpster 30 feet away. With new windows, some relatively minor upgrades to the interior, and better landscaped property, this place could be a good value. But as it is, I can't recommend it. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l
