I would like to start off with a murder that took place a few months ago inside an apartment. I don't know the mans name but i do know that he was the MANAGERS HUSBAND! -----'s ex husband from what wittiness have reported beaten a women to death with a sludge hammer, and then tried to burn down the apartment building. And if you have any kids you will be damned if you put them in this place. Ive seen them getting yelled at by the manager for Bicycling,rollerblading,skateboarding,and playing games in the grass like football. The parking is okay, but that is if you are lucky enough to have a parking lot in front of your house. But if not, enjoy carrying groceries up 2 flights of stairs. Also, my gas has been cifyled numerous of times, and people have even dented my car! The pool never has a life guard on duty, and the only saftey equipment is a water tube that is hard to reach, you either need to be really tall, or be wearing some high heels.. The people aren't too friendly, and for the most part no one ever speaks to another. So this isn't a neighborly environment.

Unfortunately more inaccurate and false information. Greenmar Apartments welcomes all children! We do ask though that parents watch their children while playing outside. We are located in the AAA rated school district of Rockwood, another great reason Greenmar Apartments is a desired apartment complex to live at! Please call us for more information.

Seems funny that you hated it so much here but you choose to live here for 5 years. Does that make since to you? There are too many good people here, why don't you move?

I have been reading all of these comments and it frustrates me that there is an underlying tone to many of these comments that the manager is a "horrible person" because of the horrific crime her exhusband performed. Shame on all of you for persecuting one person for another person's horrific crime. If you dislike her for things SHE has done, mention that instead of childeshly lashing out at her for a crime SHE did not commit. That is so first grade!!! Unless you have been in a situation where someone you love has done something this horrible and evil, you do not know what emotional trauma SHE is gong through. She, too, is this man's victim. He lived with her! How easily could it have been her instead of the neighbor. Furthermore, this is an apartment complex! Don't expect maid service. The staff is there to help with things that need to be repiared and maintained but be realistic in your demands. There is mold everywhere (even in million dollar mansions!) While mold should be gottrn rid of and ice should definitely be salted before 7am for safety purposes, you do need to be responsible to some extent for your own safety. I currently rent a house and I am responsible for my own repairs unless it is something major. I have a relative who is a police officer and patrols this area. They said there is very little crime reported and the murder was the biggest thing that has happened in this area for a very long time. Bad things happen and it is both sad and unfortunate that it happened to this girl and her family. Realistically, murders also happen in the richest and nicest of neighborhoods. This, from my understanding was an isolated crime aimed at one specific person and we do not have a serial killer running around in the neighborhood.

The manager is crazy and it has nothing to do with a murder!!! I have never seen such dereliction in my life!! Maybe if they get rid of the manager it would be a better place!! My children were also yelled at for playing!!! I thought it was a big joke..... but nope!!! These negative comments about greenmar and the manager are 100% true!!! Be careful where you choose to live!!!!
