I'll try to keep this as professional sounding as possible without spilling my true feelings about this place into this...
PLENTY of parking! Which was great. There you go, my ONE positive for this place.
The first week I moved into the apartment with my girlfriend a group of tenants from another building kept harassing her to the point where I bought pepper spray for her, and we also started parking further away but away from where these kids hung out.
For a while there, a bunch of cars were getting the gas siphoned out of their cars at night.
At least 3 tenants in my old building were smoking pot in the parking lot and around our building, I even told the landlord but nothing was done.
Prices keep jumping up and they're trying to squeeze every penny out of you. It now costs you money to use the pool and the pet rent went up.
I know this is a tired subject here but mold is RIDICULOUS! It's everywhere, on every window, it's terrible. The windows don't close all the way so during the winter you're heating up the entire world and your electric bill jumps through the roof.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read your contract. The whole thing is Greenmar friendly with no break-lease clause. If you REALLY need to get into these apartments I would negotiate a break-lease clause so you're not stuck in the apartment for a year more than you'd like.
The staff has for the most part been friendly, but you get A LOT of run around.
And if you're interested in cable, MAKE SURE the cable outlets are working in each room because Greenmar only guarantees the living room, you must pay the cable company more to fix the other lines.
Please look elsewhere for an apartment, you can do much better. (Apartments behind the Gravois Bluffs look very nice and spacious!)
Thanks

Why didn't you call the police? If you girlfriend was harrassed and there are people smoking pot...it's a matter for the police, not the apartment complex. NOTE: Before committing to a lease, it is wise to check with the local police department as well as the schools & other amenties. Making decisions based on how a neighborhood looks generally will be costly.

MAYER HOMES is who you should contact, not the morons that work in the office when they decide to show up! It is a complete white trash property!!!! Tear the eye sore down!
