I've been here about four months now, and so far I like it. It's a quiet community. Most of the people who live here are working families or senior citizens. The Ferguson-Florissant school district is fantastic. Management has been timely with fixing problems. The outside of the apartments might not look like much, but on the inside, they're very nice. They even come with free carpeting. Lots of other places make you pay for carpenting.

Every now and then, there's a little trouble with crime, but that's only because these apartments are so close to St. Louis. There's also a main road located nearby that features a liquor store and a McDonald's, so that is where the problems stem from. Overall, Ferguson is a nice quiet little city, and they make their residents feel welcome. But I'm afraid I'm going to have to break my lease. The St. Louis area just doesn't have the jobs to support growth, so I might head over to Kansas City.

Edited 8/15/06 Park Ridge-Gannon Management will try to screw you out of your security depossit. I left the place clean, and they're trying to take all of my security deposit for damages.

Also, the place is full of roaches that will not go away no matter how much you bomb, spray, or bait!! And the community children are demons from hell. They're loud, ghetto, and vandals destined for prison!

Ha, Amusing how just because they withheld your security deposit, it turned from a quiet community, and a clean place, to a dirty roach infested ghetto place with a bunch of LOUD vandals. Sounds very inconsistant. I will follow the original review however.

No, actually, it is roach infested. They didn't come out till after winter was over, and the weather started heating back up. I would go into my kitchen in the middle of the night, and the floor would be crawling with roaches. After I complained about the security deposit, they did give me back all of my money, but make sure to document everything which was what I did. The children are extremely loud, and they act very ghetto, and they do like to vandalize things including the mailboxes. You also have to watch out for your neighbors. For instance, the addresses there are very similar, and I had placed an order with Office Depot that they were going to deliver to my home. The driver called me earlier to let me know that he was on his way. About half an hour later, he calls me to make sure he was at the right address because the person who answered the door where he was at did not sound like the person that he spoke to on the phone. The woman at the other apartment lied to him, and told him that she was the one that he spoke to and to bring my order right on in. Luckily, he had the foresight to call me again and let me know what was up. Management will take care of problems that crop up, but don't expect them to be there often. The laundry room only takes tokens which you can only get from the rental office, but the office is only open for a short period of time, so you have to be quick. Gannon Management/ Park Ridge is okay, but you've been warned about the roaches.
