I lived at Aspen Woods for almost 4 years. I have 3 small children. I found the neighborhood chancy at best. People do not respect their neighbors. No one seems to care about making a ridiculous amount of noise at any given time. People do not care if they park in front of your gate (not a parking space by the way) or in the spot in front of your unit. Property is not respected, nor are children safe, unless you are used to a more ghetto type of behavior. Mini gangs are occasionally apparent and children are harrassed. Plenty of nice people do live there but the other half really detract from the potentially nice place it could be.
The management revolves like a door. If you want something fixed, call every day because chances are unless it is your water, heat or A/C it wont be done. Heaven forbid you move out and leave so much as a mark on the walls and remember to replace your light bulbs because they charge for that too upon leaving. They are supposed to offer you painting and carpet cleaning yearly, but you better ask, or they dont. It is one of the largest places for the money to live and they offer good enough incentives to remain there that many do, dispite the drawbacks. If you have little kids who are not used to low-life attitudes, don't move there.

SO WHAT CNAASSISTANT! I HAVE LIVED HER 5 YEARS AND IT WASNT THIS BAD FOR THE FIRST 3-4 YEARS. IT HAS GONE DOWN AT AN ALARMING RATE. MY HUSBAND AND I ARE ABOUT READY TO LIVE WITH FAMILY IF WE CANT FIND A HOUSE BEFORE OUR LEASE IS UP.
