Lost 9 Year Tenant

Years at this apartment: 1995 - 2004
First of all Heatherton was a great place to live when I first moved there in 1995. Since then it has changed management 3 times. The last management change, brought significant changes like wanting tenants to pay water, trash & sewer. If you are going to pay that you might as well own your own home. Also they no longer have community activities for the tenants and children. I always looked forward to having the "Block Party" every year, because it gave you the opprotunity to meet your neighbors and to network. They are not screening their applicants/potential tenants anymore and are letting anyone move into the apartments and townhomes. I loved living in my two bedroom townhome and will miss it dearly. I hated to have to move but I was unhappy with the apartment community and was embarrassed for people to come to my apartment simply because every time I would come home there would be children and adults hanging out in front of my door which was horrible. That's why we have patios to hang out on, not the front of the house. I wished I could have moved my townhome to a new location, but instead I moved to a better apartment community.
