Most Miserable Apartment I ever lived in!

Please read this and listen closely: Do Not rent here please it is for your own good! I have been living here two and a half days without any air-conditioner and the apartment is over 90 Degrees hot in here, and Paddock Village doesn't care one bit. With the humidity this high, my family and my pet are really suffering. When I called to check on when they are coming to fix it, they first said 30 minutes. That was in the morning, and now it is almost 6pm on the second day! The office man told me they have 15 air-conditioners out. That really seems hard for me to believe that 15 units went out on the same day! Yesterday, I was told there were 3 out. I am wondering in what order are they fixing them because they sure aren't helping me. I sure wish I would of known the air doesn't work in these apartments before I signed a one year lease which won't be up until January. In this economy, I don't have the money it takes to break a lease and then be able to rent another. I feel like there is nothing I can do but to continue to suffer. I have a headache from the heat in here. You would think this would be an "emergency work order" but in the manual for Paddock, no air is only considered an emergency if you have a documented medical condition. No heat is an emergency, go figure! I had to vent here so maybe someone who is looking to rent will please not give this place business. I have so many other complaints about this place. For one, everything in the apartment seems to be glued together by Elmer's Glue when you first rent here, and everything falls apart when you move in! The office staff is so unfriendly and seem to be angry at you when you put in a request to get something fixed! They don't have enough maintenance staff to fix things here. This place is very old on the inside and needs gutted out and redone. They are outdated and almost unusable. But they sure fix it up to trick you when you move in.
Now that it is summer here, the pool is open, but you have to go through the office to get in and out! You would think they wouldn't want water dripping in their precious office when swimmers exit! Also, the pool is only open until the latest 6pm even on the weekends! They obviously don't trust the residents to swim without their supervision! If you are in the pool and the staff is showing an apartment, you are locked in the pool area until they come back! Nice going, you think' That is a health hazard right there!
Of course, they only clean up and maintain the grounds on the perimeter and by the office of the apartments for the poor future residents who want to rent here. There is a tennis court with no nets and broken glass all over. They don't pick up all the trash on the grounds either. They don't provide dog waste bags to pick up after your pet, the playground has broken swings which are never going to get fixed, and rusted out playground equipment for years probably!
Don't let me get started about the appliances in the kitchen. Maybe this was a nice place if this was the 1920s! The appliances are ugly, dirty, and out of style.
In conclusion, Paddock only cares about getting their rent check once a month. You as a resident don't mean anything to them after they sell you the apartment. Do anything you can to not rent here, and good luck here if you have to pick here. I just don't want anyone to suffer like we have here.
PS Just to show how much the staff doesn't care about you here, we found out six months after renting here that we have been living here without an air filter! That is so unhealthy. Do you think they really did a thorough inspection before people move in, or just take the inspection money' I think the money! Also, last but not least, when the maintenance did come in to look at my apartment for the air conditioner, they acted like they were blaming me for it! There was a leak in the basement for about a week and I didn't know if it was coming from my washer or what. All I knew was my air broke. He said if I would of called sooner, my air wouldn't of broke. But really, if this apartment was kept proper, the air wouldn't of broke! This is how you get treated here - BE WARNED! Still don't have air and I am steaming Mad!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know you but I can relate because I'm a former tenant. If you're pissed about the air not working, wait until it's "fixed" and then either won't cycle off leaving you with an astronomical electric bill, or wail until the winter when the until won't kick out heat. If you haven't already received it, use your stimulus check and get out now while you can.
