I moved into a 2BR Garden Apartment in October, 2008. Although I read the reviews, I decided that I would take a chance and try it anyways. Was I surprised! Not only is the management attentive and prompt, maintenance has been to my apartment on numerous occasions to reset my circuit breaker, repair my furnace, and some other items, and they have always been prompt and polite. I normally would not write a review on an apartment, but I truly believe that the negative reviews that are being written aren't 100% accurate. Scott is the present manager, and he and Candis (the other office personnel) are a pleasure to work with. My only complaint is that I wish there was a tad bit more parking, but at the time that they built this complex there probably weren't a lot of apartment dwellers with multiple cars. I would highly recommend Paddock Village.

Seriously? So.. you cant hear the cars outside at night with the loud music? Your apartment windows arent paper thin and rattle everytime the wind blows? Your winter heating bill wasnt crazy because of the lack of insulation?? You're one of the lucky ones then. You may love it now, but just wait for the summer.. when the kids are out of school.

I think the comments were based on how the property was being managed while they were there. For me, Lajuanda Gammon was the ppty mngr and sadly enough, many of us had issues on a weekly basis that weren't addressed timely and I happened to live right next to the leasing office. Kids tore down my privacy fence the week I moved in. A year later, the fence was still on the ground. My furnace went out many times in the winter and then when summer rolled around, we'd wake up with sweat pouring down our faces and would have to wait at least 3 days before this would be addressed. Try not to be so quick to disclaim what other's have experienced. You may actually be on a nicer end where your neighbors truly act like neighbors. Many of us remember being kids and playing our music, but wait til the summer when you run across kids sitting on your car and daring you to ask them to move or when folks start removing your lightbulb from in front of your door when fall comes back around. Good luck. Post back when/if you renew your lease.

How long ago were you here? I can only speak from experience, but I am not blind to the fact that what I have seen is quite limited given my time here. If that truly becomes the case over the summer months, I will quickly relocate.
