I lived there for a year. There are some things you need to consider before you sign a lease:

1. The vaults are pretty, but remember you are heating/cooling all of that extra space. We had to run the ceiling fan just to circulate air up there.
2. We had a lot of bees/wasps. If you have a vaulted ceiling, they go up there and it is hard to kill them.
3. If you pick one towards the back end of the complex, your entry door will be secluded and that can lead to trouble.
4. We had mice problems. We lived back by the woods and that didn t help. Well, the mice problem never went away and then we had a squirrel infestation.
5. Rent does go up every year.
6. The vaulted ceilings cost extra every month.
7. We had 2 occurrences where someone tried to come in our place at 4:00 in the morning.
8. If you are looking at moving into one, survey the grounds. Are there sunflower seeds around the complex' If yes, watch out. Mice love to eat those. We found piles of them in corners of our apartment in the furnace room and behind the refrigerator.
