I lived here almost two years and I moved in because it had a good rating.Since a new management company has moved in and things are not the same. The property was not all it was cracked up to be even before they came in but at least the outside of the property and more maintenence issues were taken care of. The grounds are not kept up as far as the grass being cut and the trees being cut away from the roads. I have yet to see another exterminator on property. Only one pool is open and there is not much for the community to do as far as excercise because the weight room is not updated. The streets on the property has so many cracks and holes in it and has yet to be fixed. There is supposed to be noise ordinances but those are not inforced and if you live next to, under, or over someone with a pet, children or just someone who is younger and used to living noisey, pray that they are respectful enough to keep quiet because since some of management doesn't stay on property it seems they don't care that some tenants are tired of the ordinances not being inforced. If something happens to your vehicle on property and you are not standing outside to see it happen, you are S.O.L. Speaking of cars. Parking is okay but the lines need to be further apart due to so many SUV's on property and people not watching what they are doing when they open the doors. The lights on the property are not well lit especially in the back of the complex. We are down to two maintenence people and maybe four office staff and sometimes it is not easy getting in touch with the staff. The property next to Pelican, Riverchase, is GHETTO FABULOUS. This is really not a bad apartment complex but without communtiy team work, police, and management working together it is worth looking other places and if you do choose to live here, keep on management and complain if needed. Too many people like to let things be rather than complain and live in peace. GOOD LUCK
