A friend recommended this apartment to me and i moved from out of town into this apartment sight unseen solely based on reputation. AND WOW WAS I UNDERWELMED. The apartment was dirty, the ice box had mildew in it, the cabinets have had some UNIDENTIFIED sticky mess (that won t come off) on them, the kitchen floor was not clean because it had a large stain beside the ice box the size of a saucer that look of fesses and no one bothered to clean it up before I moved in!!! The bathroom floor was not clean and the closet had dust bunnies in it the size of a large cat. (and this is just the day I moved in) the maintenance man came to fix the toilet that ran, the stove that wouldn t work, the window that wouldn t open, and replace the non existent weather proof strips, again, all of this should have been taken care of before I moved in. Once the maintenance man was inside my apartment he decided HE WOULD USE MY KITCHEN TOWEL AND MY PAPERTOWELS to clean up the fesses AND LEAVE THE NASTY, DIRTY, SHI* STAINED TOWL BALLED UP WET IN MY SINK!!! And he stole food from my ice box. After complaining to the management staff they did not fire him, no (they got rid of the management staff instead) save yourself 750 dollars and move under the freeway instead, at least you get what you pay for. I wouldn t stay here another year if the owners of Pelican Cove paid the rent
