I was a tenant at River Chase Apartment in Florissant, Mo. for 2 years. I was attracted to this complex because of the well kept grounds. I always paid my rent early, and never had a complaint until I moved. River Chase approved my deposit to be refunded, and even cut me a check for the 300.00 I deposited; however, when I tried to cash the check they had put a STOP PAYMENT on it. When I required as to why this had happened, they stated that I owed them money. I am currently taking River Chase Apartments to court along with my copies of the check off sheet which was signed by management, and the letter which they mailed me stating how lovely I had left the place. I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE, and if your currently living there now - I feel for you, soon you will know what it's like to get screwed.
