Too little too late

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
Unfortunately, I stumbled on this website *after* renting from SugarPines. As the other reviewers have noted, the management is disorganized, uninterested, and often times unpleasant to deal with; getting things repaired takes multiple--five or six--attempts; and appliances are cheap and frail.
My neighbors also blast music several nights a week (and at 5 am on Christmas Day...) and send enough marijuana smoke through the vents to nearly get me high. They are, in short, unruly and often snobby.
I do feel safe, though, and the area around *my* apartment is well lit. Being close to the highway is a plus. But that's about it.
The management is doing its best to get people in here, including giving discounts to students. They seem to be making "New Years changes," and we'll see where it leads. I did, however, overhear some gossip about the head manager position, that it's changed six times in the past 18 months (or something to that extent). If that's true, it reflects on the property and the units and the tenants.
This is not, for me, a bad place to live. But there are better, and readers are encouraged to look elsewhere for them. I look forward to going elsewhere myself...
