I recently moved out of this hell hole in July of 2008 and I am so glad that I did. I do have to say that I got my full deposit back but I think it's only because of the hell that I went through while living here. If you move here you will have mold in your apartment, really outdated appliances, really expensive electric bills (I didn't even live in the apartment the month of July and my electric bill was $90, nothing was on but the refrigerator and the clock on the stove), you're sliding porch door will freeze inside in the winter time with ice and frost, and your neighbors smoke crack and blast music all hours of the day and night. Overall, this place was a true disappointment because I thought I was moving in a great neighborhood at a great price. Boy was I surprised. Also, don't expect maintanance to give a hoot about your air conditioning not working or the fact that you have mold in your apartment. They have more important things to do such as update their own apartment. I suggest thouroughly looking your apartment over prior to moving in if you have to live here and ask the neighbors there what they think. I think you'll find that what I wrote in here is the truth. Hopefully if you do have to live here, you don't don't ever encounter the crap I went through but do your research. Oh and when it's icy out, don't look for maintenance to come and clean the sidewalks until 3 days later. This last winter I fell all the way to my car on ice and that was 2 days after the ice storm. Go figure...Best of luck in finding a decent place for the right price!
