Years at this apartment: 2009 - 2009
I lived there from 2000 to 2001. The only reason I moved was because I got married and we decided to rent a house instead.
You do have to watch out for the flooding issues. You can see the creek from the back of the apartments and it's not a small creek and it's flat lands thru there so common sense would say that when it comes a torrential rain or storm, it's probably going to flood. It's also common sense to have renter's insurance so yeah, it sucked, but not unexpected if you're paying attention.
Management was OK, never really had any issues with them but we never had a reason to either. Our rent was paid on time and we never had anything to complain about and never did anything to get complaints against us so there was never much contact. It was a decent apartment with a decent price and I was lucky and had decent neighbors too. The kitchen was very spacious which for an apartment, from the ones I've seen, is unusual. Washer/Dryer hook-ups. Close to 270 and shopping like Walgreens, gas stations, grocery stores. As far as I know, in the time I lived there, there was never any crime like cars getting broken into or burglaries and it was well lit and seemed very safe.
It was nothing fancy or too special in terms of having fancy gyms and what not but just a decent, clean place to live.
