Nice apartments, questionable area'

I am a single female and I have lived here for three years. When I first moved in, I had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit that I shared with a roommate. The two bedroom apartments are a decent size; I never felt cramped even with someone else living there. My roommate eventually moved out and I made the transition to a 1 bedroom. The staff was helpful and polite during the move and since then I've always had a good experience when dealing with anyone from the leasing office.
The location is excellent for anyone working downtown or even in Clayton. You're right near highways 270, 170, and 70.
I have not had a bug problem in the 1BR unit other than a small spider here and there but I do remember dealing with lots of ants in the 2BR. I have not seen one silverfish in the three years I've lived here.
The 1BR apartments are large enough for one person but in my opinion not two or more. I've only had to call for maintenance a few times and there was always someone there within 24 hours.
My only real complaint is the crime around the area. I have seen a few seedy looking people wandering around at times, and my car was broken into outside my apartment and several hundred dollars of audio equipment was stolen from it.
I do recommend these apartments based on friendly staff, prompt maintenance service, and good location. Rent is average for the area, not cheap but not too expensive either. Just be sure your car has an alarm on it if you decide to live here.
