I stayed in Walden Pond Apartments from Sept. '04 till Aug. '05. In the beginning it was great little problem. Then in my time there a new manager was appointed and my stay went down hill from there. Anytime some thing needed to be fixed I was told that it was my fault it broke because of allocations that I was having loud parties till all hours of the night. After enough complaining they would fix most error to the lowest of there capabilities. Two months prior to my moving I had disscussed renewing my lease because it was close to my work. At that point I had told The apartment manager that our carpet was falling apart and needed to be replaced. I was told that I could either deal with it or leave. I continued to stay at the apartment up until till August when myself my wife and a few others stepped on the tack stripping that holds the carpet in place. I myself had to get a tetnus shot. I went back to the leasing office and told them of this and asked again to replace the carpeting, they then told me that they don't replace carpeting for residents. It was at that point I left so no one else was hurt. Now I am being charge with over 1800.00 from this complex and I call and leave messages for an explination and no one calls back.

I agree completely, They need a big lawsuit to shake them up, perhaps we should contact FOX 2 News for a "You paid for it" episode. These are section 8 housing complexes after all, so the taxpayers are paying the office jerks to sit around and be rude to tennents and make them shoulder the burden of repairs and replacing carpet that is sub-standard to begin with! I was a tennent from October 04 to Oct 05. Worst ever
