I was unaware when I signed a lease that I would be living in the area s version of government housing or I would have asked for some free cheese. None the less, I only knew of three other tenants who actually paid a full price on their rent. Don t get me wrong, Taney County does need a place for single moms and fatherless children but the staff should warn those who can afford to find a quieter place to live.
The maintenance personnel are honed to be nosey tattletales for the office staff. The staff in turn treats everyone like they are serving a soup line to finish up some community service hours. They never bothered me personally but i was witness to it more than occassionally. It is a noisy place and the kids run amuck but some of their mothers made up for the lack of discipline. (Wink)
I did enjoy my time there but I am just a single guy who likes to have friendly good time neighbors. If I valued quiet and privacy I definitely would have had issues with the place. The high crime was bad as well but coming from a big city I was prepared and savvy to it.
