Oh man this place sucks. ASAP I, personaly, am getting out of here. It's a shame... to just drive by Lakewood (in the daylight anyway) it looks good, no doubt. When you're here, living in this chaos day to day it's much different. Not meaning to sound judgemental but.... I think the harsh environment here is due to the fact that they allow the section 8 and hud people to live here.

A lot of them don't have steady jobs... hang out in the parking lots... have loud parties... vandalize cars and property...

You can always expect noise interference from being in an apartment community, but these walls are paper thin and if you have people above you... just forget about peace. Even normal walking sounds like rugy football.

I can't say so much for the management either. I always pay the rent on time and ask little from them but I do know that everytime I've had to go in the office one or more of the girls are chatting on the phone with .. whoever. Laughing and giggling away, I doubt that's a business call.

I see cops out here a lot.. when my car got egged by someone I called them. The officer said that they're out here multiple times a day to respond to calls from people. I can believe it...

If you're section 8 or hud.. well give this place a try there are a lot of residents like you. But it's unsafe... a lot of crime, a lot of noise... vandlism etc. and the list goes on.

I've never lived in Lakewood apartments, but I do live in an apartment community and have worked as a sales person. A GOOD business call would be using GOOD communication and maybe use a bit of HUMOR to make the person on the other line feel more comfortable. Maybe thats just me though.

And don't blame everything on hud/section 8, by doing that you just look ignorant and disrespectful. There are plenty of us that don't fit your discription.
