I have 8 weeks left on my lease, and I'm getting out of here as fast as I can. The apartments are great, it's getting the staff to do their jobs. There is a such thing as quiet time but they aren't aware of it. There is also a thing called privacy, don't think for a minute that your PRIVATE information is just that. My cell phone number was given out to a Joe Schmoe because they were OFFICIAL. That my friend, is against the law. And in 8 weeks I will be filing formal charges. By the advice of my attorney I need to take the high road because I could get evicted. And the noise, oh Lord, if you want to get a decent nights sleep, have a nice quiet dinner, this is definantely not the place to live. The lady upstairs with her 3 children make enough noise to fill a high school gym. And her foul mouth with those small children is disgusting. I'm having to endure her spewing her fould mouth to her children all hours of the night. And to think, -------- (property manager) says this is apartment living. I haven't had a furnace filter since I've lived here and I have called the management several times to let them know. I have you have to fill out a pre-requisite form to get that. Parking is horrible. If your thinking about renting here check out who built the apartments and who owns them, MLP will not be happy campers when I forward all my complaint letters through out the year to them. I know ---- (part owner). 8 more weeks!!!!

Wow... you know someone. Big deal. I hate when people run their mouths and try to pull rank because they "know" someone. Great man... the deal is that it IS apartment living, and no where you go can guarantee quiet, good neighbors, great parking, etc. You could request it, but they can not release that kind of information due to Fair Housing Laws. You're an idiot.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!! NOT AN IDIOT! I too live there with my husband and small child and would do anything to get out! I have lived in several apartments and have never - NEVER been treated so horribly by management, or been exposed to constant mold and black soot in ANY of my previous residences. You should learn to shut your mouth when you know nothing of the situation (to response' - only)! I am currently seeking legal advice because of this HORRID place. Our apartment is smokey with (as I stated before) black soot over EVERYTHING! The extremely talented maintenance has ZERO idea what the problem is, yet after repeatedly calling. It took them 3 weeks to come up with "Uh, I think you could need a new filter." Yeah, it hasn't made a bit of difference. The management knows this, yet we are ignore and treated like we are being irrational! NOT IRRATIONAL - and my fellow lakewood resident... I envy your 8 weeks! Forward these complaints on to your friend! It is truly an awful place to live. They lie and send out general threats, but will do nothing if there is a real problem!!!

Oh my goodness are guys serious about this apartment complex. My husband and I were planning on moving in August.It seems to be really quiet, please tell me that you are not forreal. And oh by the way my husband is in the army and we are ------- americans and we were told not to move to these apartments because they were not too fond of ------. Is this true, should we really consider to look some where else? Because I dont want my son too have to go thru any hing he DO NOT HAVE TOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was a resident at Lakewood and I srongly recommend that any decent person not live there. It is absolutely pathetic. Living outside the gates of Hell would be better than this dump. I was eventually able to break my lease after many photos, complaints, letters and eventually threatened to seek IRS help since this is subsidized housing. It was not a threat. I was getting out even if the feds had to get involved. If you have any self respect, don't sign the lease. Paying a little more will get you a lot more comfort and peace of mind. Waht a dump!!!!
