Checking police reports before you apply is a good idea. Lakewood is a cheapened version of Turnberry Apartments in St. Charles. Don't be fooled by the few similarities. The kitchen amenities at Lakewood are out of date to say the least. Yet, it is sold as "modern."

Run Forest Run This place is a dump. If you like drug deals, loud parties, kids messing with your car, then this is the place. Herb the owner will let anyone in. I had to slip the manager $30 bucks to let my application slide. That should have been my first clue.
