I made a bad choice

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
I have lived here for over a year and I too have entered the office and encountered new staff on almost every visit. The first time I visited the complex, I was told about a special one month free on rent. I left my name and phone number and said I would be back with a deposit. A few days later the manager I met with called and left me a voicemail offering me a promotion that was for two months free. When I called her back and reminded her that we had already met and I had said I wanted the apartment but the deal she offered me was for 1 month free and that she had just left me a message offering two months free, she stated that she was mistaken and that I could not have the two month offer because I had already agreed to the one month offer. Long story short, I had not signed any paperwork or given them a deposit and I eventually had to call Cress Management and tell them about their manager. I ended up getting the two months free. That manager was "relocated" to a new property. She is back now along with a whole new staff. I stopped trying to remember their names. I was begged to renew my lease and I did, which is turning out to be another bad mistake. In my building, I have had at 7 neighbors in 16 months. In the last 4-6 months several cars have been vandalized. The light in my carport is burned out. The windows do not work well. There are wires from what appear to be an old security system everywhere. The windows are incredibly drafty so my gas bills were in the $100 range in the winter. I can't have my coffee pot and dishwasher on at the same time or I will blow a fuse. I can't have my coffee pot or microwave on at the same time either for the same reason. I was told there was a storage facility for every apartment, but they are like made out of cardboard and the doors are either ripped off the hinges or the latches for the locks are ripped off.I asked one staff member if I could get the storage facility for my apartment fixed and she said we don't use them anymore. I asked another staff memeber and she said they don't RENT them anymore. Last summer the shut the air off in my building and said it would be for 3 days so they could put on a roof; it ended up being almost two weeks. I called the office repeatedly and almost always got voicemail. When I did get a live person, I was met with attitude as if I didn't have a right to be mad. Another time I actually got to speak to someone I was informed that the company they hired had walked off the job and never returned so Coventry was trying to find a new roofing company to finish the job. I had to board my cats because the heat was beginning to get them. The management never even apologized for the inconvenience. At this point I am 100% sure I will not renew my lease.
