I think that says it all but the situation at this place goes way deeper than that. If you read the other reviews (not written by office staff) then allow me to confirm some of the negative aspects you're read.
I never heard of anybody drowning at the pool, but there WAS a guy living IN MY BUILDING that was shot in the head. A month earlier a kid got shot in the chest and died. A couple months before that I actually heard 3 gunshots from across the street at Kohl's, which I later learned ended up in someones eye.
I've never had my car broken into while here(1 yr.) but I've actually caught seomone attempting to open my girlfriend's car door. Also, someone tried to break into my house one day and f*cked up my door and jamb, so I called maintenence to fix it up and replace the locks and the ------- told me that there's no way to break in these doors and that I would be charged $30 for locks AND that he couldn't really fix anything without taking off the door, which he was unwilling to do. GREAT!!!!!!!!
Speaking of the maintenence.... When i first moved in I had a list of at least 15 items which were damaged or needed attention that I wanted fixed, almost none of them actually got fixed and remain unfixed. The guys who do the work seem nice enough, but are almost completely unwilling to, or way too busy for fixes of any calibur. Plus, one of the maintenence guys (who happens to be in a relationship with one of the managers) is a crazy and violent alcoholic and he harrassed and tried to start fights with several friends of mine that had INVITED HIM to hang out with them at their apt.
As for the office staff, I've never had a rude encounter with them, but they will not hesitate to send legal action on you for being late on rent (5 days and only once). I also question the ability of the staff to manage this facility, because the girl that I deal with half of the time was in my graduating class.
OTHER info
The grounds are nice enough to look at, parking sucks if you don't get home early, constant noisy parties will keep you up at night, nosy neighbors will call the cops for any and all reasons, the maintenence and staff will enter your apt. at any time for any reason and will allow others to do so as well, safety is a major concern here and I felt the need to own a gun to protect myself, lighting is bad, I ALWAYS smell natural gas when I walk outside, the concrete and wood they use to build this place sucks and I had to have my balcony replaced when I moved in, AND OH YEAH... because someone was shot in my building, I ended up with a ton of legal troubles that someone decided to pile on to the heap of crap that I sit in. I'm being evicted because of it, but before they did that, they told me that if I wanted to renew my lease that the price would raise. THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY THE LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR FOR THIS AREA. I'd rather live in hawthorne, at least they only get one or two shooting a year....

I know the couple that wrote this review, and lets just say that I used to be friends with them until I found out what they were really about. First of all the guy that was shot in the head was a friend of his, well I can't say a friend but they did do their drugs together. I was home when the police searched their apartment and I don't know what they found but my guess is that's probably why they are being evicted. I don't know what he is talking about maint staff about, but I do know that his apartment was ATEMPTED broken into and he knew exactly who did it but played dumb about it. And the reason he felt the need to own a gun was because he is messing with drugs. From what I found out from the police is all these shootings have been associated with drugs. I couldn't get much detail, but I called the office and there is going to be alot of things happen as a result of the recent problems, I think something serious is going to happen because the office staff stated they could not elaborate but we would all soon see for ourselves.????? I can't wait because other than the recent problems I have really liked living here.
