I have lived in IRA since November, and since then there has been 3 shootings. The first one was around christmas and started in the apartment across the hall from mine and then ended up at khols parking lot, with a car being shot up. Then the second shooting was right upstairs from my apartment! A teenager was shot and killed in the door way. Then the third one was a couple building down and some guy there got shot and killed. The complex did nothing about it!! I have a child and there is no way, she was allowed outside or by windows after dark. I was even scared to take her to the playground there because god only knows what has happened there or what was left behind. Then one day I was comming home and a man stopped me and asked me what i did, because he can get ahold of anything. It didn't hit me until later that the man was trying to sell me drugs. Now why would anyone want to live in a play were people are dying and guys sell drugs upstairs' The staff to me were just useless. They never did their job properly. My garbage disposal was fixed 5 times in a week. Plus my front door was open one morning and somebody ate my food and talked on my cell phone then left, when I called to get my locks changed they said they'd do it the next day and it never happened! The same old lock is still on there! Its thankful that I went out and bought a lock for my bedroom door. Now it's not safe outside nor inside your place of residence!

Okay, people like this are just stupid. First of all if you are sooo scared like you said you are then why didn't you call the police when someone tried to sell you drugs, and obviously you knew the guy upstairs from you sold drugs so do you honestly think that anything can be done about that if you don't call the police? Not only that, obviously you have gotten your information wrong or something, from what I heard from the police is that the people were shot from someone that knew them each time, it's not like someone is going around popping off whoever they want. Not only that, I live in your building too and I know you and you all used to party and smoking pot with the guy that got shot and in our building, in fact wasn't your boyfriend or whatever on the news saying that you all hung out together? Hmmmm....sounds like someone just wants to run their big mouth, why couldn't you be an adult and not post this info ANONYMOUSLY. I don't know anything about your locks, but if mine didn't get changed then I think I would be calling back, if you are as scared as you SAY you are. Do you really think a lock for your bedroom do is going to stop someone? Geeez..... For the record, I have lived here for a long time, and will continue to live here. I know that this place isn't perfect, and I also know that no place is perfect. I also know that the girls in the office have no control over the company they work for and lets be honest that is who you should be taking this out on, not them. They have no way to know what is going on inside each apartment if noone is going to stand up and tell them what is going on. I love the guys here too, they always try to be here to fix any problems I have had as quick as they can. I think everyone fails to remember there are how many apartments here probably over a couple hundred. Bottom line, crime is everywhere. Stuff like this is even happening in Johnson County.
