wolf in sheeps clothing ought to be the motto here. I would seriously reconsider if you are thinking of moving here. I lived here for 2 years, and it was always awful.

Get your facts right before you post a rant,, the assault you refer to occured at Cornerstone apartments,, not Pepperwood,, dont you watch the news???? Jeeeeez

Funny you should say that, July 4th I was on my deck watching the fireworks from the stadium, and I was able to see the two Independence cops show up and take the report. Since Ive been here there were two incidents such as this, as well as two car break ins. My best friends and while walking my dog, I passed someone else who was calling the police because of their car being broken into. Im not a ranter, I usually dont complain because Im easy going and very loyal even when I shouldnt be. But enough is enough, I know when there is a bad situation. I know you get late fees if you dont pay your bills on time, im not an idiot, but c'mon they charged me 300 for a problem that wasnt mine, it was theirs, did they care no! its easy to blame the report when the incidents are happening to others and not you. I will see if the song changes when this or something similar happens to you. just be careful who you support.
