This is my third year here, and will certainly be my LAST. The apartments are badly maintained, inside and out. The appliances are as old as the hills, and the MOLD inside my apartment is absolutely disgusting. I??ve had mold growing on walls, vents, ceiling, furniture, and the seal around my refrigerator door. I??m unable to go out on my balcony because it??s falling apart; and I??d rather not plunge three stories to my death. You can??t rely on simply calling for maintenance, because it??ll never get done. I??ve started making maintenance requests in writing so I can have everything documented. A/C goes out several times each summer. My building had no hot water over the thanksgiving holiday, and maintenance wouldn??t even acknowledge our calls, we were later told they didn??t call us back because it wasn??t considered an ??emergency??. We didn??t even get a courtesy call, which just shows their complete lack of respect for their tenants. The kids in the area are terrible!! They destroy anything they can get their hands on (ie??basketball net / parking signs / window screens on ground floor apartments). Management does not enforce parking restrictions. I??ve made several complaints that people park their cars along red curb / fire zones, and in front of fire hydrants. Huge fire hazard!!!! The police practically live here, as they??re here all the time. I carry mace with me to the laundry room, and after dark, because there are always strange people lurking about. I could go on, and on as I??ve only scratched the surface. Bottom Line ?? Don??t move here!

I lived there back in 1996 and had alot of the same problems you are stating. We had lots of mold issues so i made sure everytime i called the office i had it in writing and kept all the forms when they do the work. My daughter had lots od allergy and Asthma problems and the mold issues made it worse. I documented Dr's reports and left with a few months on my lease. After they seen all the evidence i had they just dropped it all. GET OUT OF THERE AS FAST AS YOU CAN......Health is more IMPORTANT!!....Good Luck
