I have never been so unhappy in an apartment. I don't feel safe here at all. There are always police officers and I refuse to use the laundry room because it is so dangerous. I do not feel safe in my own apartment. My neighbor has complained about someone having a key to her home. I have heard other people enter her home, but the office will not replace her lock. It took them 9 months to replace the lock on my back door which i requested to be fixed the day we moved in. The management has no respect for the tenants. The manager has actually yelled at me and hung up on me because of my complaints. The children are never watched and tear up everything. There are constantly loud cars driving around at all hours of the night. I never have my maintenance calls taken seriously and I usually have to call every week. My garbage disposal still does not work and I have asked them to fix it several times. I have never been so disappointed with my home, as I am with Summerset. I am counting the days until I can move. They have many illegal immigrants and drug dealers living here, but try to call it a safe community. They think doing background checks on the people that sign the lease is enough. They way they do their utilities is ridiculous. They take the total amount of the building and split it up between how many people live in each apartment. That makes it to where if I don't use my heat and am barely home, my bill will be the same as the lady who blasts her heat, has every light on, her tv, and has her computer constantly on. Our average gas/electric bill is $200 a month and we don't use nearly that. The air breaks constantly and they turn the air completely off and turn the heat on in October.... it was 80 degrees in October. We can't go onto our balcony because there is a wasp nest that we have complained about several times. Finally 9 months later they came out and sprayed it with bug spray and 3 days later our balcony was swarmed again. They turn the water off very often, and never give you warning. DO NOT MOVE HERE! You will be very unhappy.

you would get the same thing at the mansion apartments and pay more for your rent than this place, you might as well stay put. at least mansion apartments had a good maintenance staff.
