Lived there for Year and a half moved out last month. I have to say our apartment wasnt close to the model apartment they showed us. Things that were wrong.
*Fridge handle was broken took them few weeks to get that replaced (not a big deal)
*One of the bedrooms(2b) window was missing (We moved in Nov.)
*Carpet was stained.(did get some money taken off our rent)
*Bedroom switch didnt work. (took them few months to get this fixed)

Really liked the big kitchen counter and living room. The sliding door of the balcony was pretty badly insulated you could feel the cold breeze during cold winter nights. Neighbors were good never had any problems, actually one neighbor was very polite and would ask us if were okay with the volume of the music it didn't bother us. Year and half i lived i didn't see any cops coming in and out. The building are pretty old which is very obvious as you drive in the complex. They redid the balcony's and the end result was ugly looking cement blocks protruding from the ground. It seemed like goal was to pass the building inspection, looks didn't matter.
The biggest set back is the Electric and Heating situation at this place. As many reviewers stated before this is a big problem so it doesn't matter how much you cut down on you heading and gas they will charge you arm and a leg. As they calculate by the number of people living in any apartment and the dimensions. Paying this company AUM is another story. This is an awful awful company, if it was up 2 them(AUM)they would slap $100 extra to the bill. They only way to pay AUM without paying the EXTRA $5 is either using the old MAIL system or using ur banking bill pay system. BEWARE: You will be charged $50 when u vacate the premises.

During summer time air conditioning is another issue. When the UNIT beside the CLUB HOUSE fires up it sounds like a jet getting ready to take off. To witness this go during the summer time.
Another reviewer posted some thing about black MOLD this is indeed true and we had this problem in one of our bath rooms. Maintenance came by 2 days later and sprayed painted over it.
The management is clueless. One time we got a notice from them warning us that we will be fined if don't stop throwing cigarette butts from the balcony. My wife called them and told them we don't smoke and never did such a thing, it was the neighbors upstairs.
The laundry room is in the basement it is pretty dark at times and for 20 some apartments (in 2 units) we have 2 washer & 2 dryers among us.

Don't be fooled by their exercise room the machines are from early 80's or so and broken half the time. The only useful thing in the room is the exercise bike and one treadmill (if the breaker for the room is working) the free weights.
The person taking care of the place after 6pm is an Old guy who is always grouchy never ask him any thing or he might bite your head off. Interesting thing to note their clocks (at the office/clubhouse) are always 10-15min ahead.

In the end when we moved out of this place i got charged for carpet cleaning. If you are looking for a Cheap apartment in the area and ready to deal with convoluted mathematics of energy billing this place is for you.
