My family and I enjoyed living there for about 4 years, the elementary school district was excellent, the location was ideal for our family. The management was always helpful and tried to help in most any situation we encountered. The utilities seemed high at times, but now that I own my own home, my utilities are much higher! It is an older property, so the windows, etc. will always be an issue for older buildings. People that got mad didn't like to follow rules or pay rent or utilities or something> I liked the rules it cut down on problems. Any time you get 280 apartments with that many different families and people, hats of to the staff and management! My children felt safe and had an affordable place for me to pay rent until I could buy a house, that's what mattered to me as a single parent NOT ON SECTION 8 or any ASSISTANCE!!! They would always fix things in a timely matter, unless the staff had to rely on another company' One time a water main broke, they tried very hard to accomodate us, some things just take time! It is a good, affordable transition home for any family!

This sounds like a plug for Summerset. Could this be the former assistant manager they are replacing? It helps to have better staff so they can help out in all situations, not just most. This property could get higher ratings that way.

Personally, I love this place and I DO NOT work there. Everything has gotten taken care of quickly, I feel safe, I get along with my neighbors. It's not perfect by any means but I believe that people are blowing this WAY out of proportion.
