I have been a resident at Applewood for a total of thirteen years and just recently became aware of this website.When I read the reviews I have to admit I was quite shocked as to their content in most cases.
I have never been anything but happy living here.I have an absolutely gorgeous view of the woods from my apartment that I wouldn't trade for anything.As far as management and staff is concerned I can honestly say that I have been completely satisfied in my dealings with them,and I have had issues and concerns over the years that required their attention.So many people view themselves as some kind of royalty and whenever something goes wrong they act as if it isn't repaired within ten minutes of placing a call to the office that their is some kind of conspiracy against them.I have seen a lot of residents come and go over the years and I can tell you with all certainty that the ones who put up a big fuss over things are always the ones who are a big pain in the rear to begin with,and are disruptive and annoying to the rest of us.I have to wonder what these people would do if they had a home of their own and had to handle repairs on their own. My bet is nothing.
The simple truth is folks that we don't live in a perfect world and sometimes a little patience is required to get where we want to be in life. So with that thought in mind I would definitely advise against paying any attention to the negative reviews on this website.
Comparativly speaking their arn't very many apartment complexes in the northland that offer the level of comfort and security that Applewood does for the money required to maintain residencey here.Even more importantly their arn't a bunch of questionable low-life characters living here.I definitly would not have stayed for thirteen years if that was the case.
So if your looking for a new place to get settled into,I will recommend Applewood with absolute enthusiasm! Come on by and visit with Deborah or Amy (both great people) in the office and see for yourself why Applewood is truly one of the best kept secrets in the northland!

I agree with this review 100%. This is a great place to live, managers are very friendly and most tenants are very respectful and polite.
