Not bad, as long as you have nowhere to go in snow

Overall, we have had a pleasant experience here except for the poor ice and snow removal. The building next never had their sidewalk shoveled at all after the approximately 8 inches of snow we received. And the drive to our apt, since it was not on the main straight road, was not plowed, even after the first couple of days after the storm. The entrance street was, but we had 6 inch deep ruts of snow in the road. After slipping and falling on the ice slick where the sidewalk meets the parking lot as well as just in the parking lot several times, my roommate asked the maintenance man that he saw if they were going to issue ice skates. 2 days later the ice problem has some improvement. Whoever they hired to plow the snow also piled it ontop of the firehydrants, some to the point you could barely see the tops.
One other note. We have never figured out the pet policy. We were interested in having a pet, but we have been told 3 different policies in 2 days, from "anything you want" to policies with age, size, and breed restrictions. I was told to pick up a paper with the regulations, stopped by the office, and then was told by another staff member that there is nothing in writing. Frustrating, but it could be worse. Otherwise no problems with the staff.
