I love living at Barclay. The apartments are new and not to mention the free tanning, sauna, fitness facility, use of computers and fax just to name a few. Other people on here have commented about the amount of noise. I happen to work at another apartment complex and it is ridiculous to assume that just because the people next to you are still loud, that the office staff aren't doing anything about it. People get warnings until they are eventually evicted if problems persist. Be patient and give the staff a break!
I've only lived here a short time but when I needed the maintenance they came the same day and were so nice and fixed every problem we had. I have had no problem with noise, and I even have a dog that barks next door that I never hear unless outside the apartment.
And as for that person that commented about the puke they wanted cleaned up. Maintenance on the weekends is EMERGENCY maintenance, therefore they come out if you have an emergency. Puke on the ground by your apartment is not an emergency. A toilette in a one bath apartment that is not flushing would be an emergency, a flood would be an emergency. . . not puke.
I love my apartment so much I don't ever see actually wanting to move out. Barclay is the nicest for the price in North Kansas City.
