I have lived at Barclay Club Apartments for about a year now. I recently moved into a different apartment and I couldn't be more disappointed. When we first moved into this apartment, we didn't have as many storage shelves throughout the apt. We asked about this and the maintenance guy said he couldn't put anymore up because this was a standard apartment and that's how it is supposed to be. Our apartment before had more shelves so I don't get it. My shower wouldn't even turn to warm or cold, only hot. It took over 4 days to get this fixed. My roommate has water leaking from her ceiling through the ceiling fan. She has called at least 4 times on this matter. Their response was to not use the fan!!! Ha! And the ceiling leaked through her bedspread and her mattress. The office told her that the renter's insurance should cover that. The leak still isn't fixed and it has been a week now. So when it rains, she will have to deal with this nonsense all over again. The trash dumpster is disgusting and you have to drive your trash down to it because there is only one. They kept saying they were going to get another pool but there is only one for all of the tenants and it is not big enough. They have tanning beds but 3 nights out of the week, they close at 5:30 p.m. and they are completely outdated. For the price you pay for your apartment, the amenities suck. And some of the people in office don't have a clue!!!! Don't get anything delivered via UPS or any other shipping company! They won't find it.
