When I first moved in to the Bennington Ridge in 2005 the community felt quite, confortable, safe, clean and great overall for the price! These qualities are very hard to achieve in such a neighborhood. However, right before I moved out (once undertaken by the new management) the complex started going down hill. THANK GOD I DIDN'T RENEW MY LEASE! I absolutely do not recommend this property to anyone looking for an apartement. The quality of new tenants (junkies) and the overall security (if it exists anymore) became extremely inferior that my wife was afraid to walk from her car to the apartment after dark. The office staff are the worst people that I have ever incountered. They don't care about you, only your money. They are snide and don't care if you renew or not. They want all the money they can get out of you. They don't pay anything. You pay water, trash, utilites, and covered parking if you want. They will raise your rent everytime you move in. I started at 550 and in 3 years I was paying 685 a month. The colors that you see on the walls, they charge you for that as well. I was told monthly charges for paint at first...what a deal? When you move out they expect the apartment to look like it did when you move out, everyone knows that things go wrong with cheaply made apartments, but they will charge you for everything. If you are not going to live in your apartment this is the place for you. DON'T MOVE HERE, TRUST ME. I did it for 3 years only b/c I couldn't move just yet. The girls in the office will not help you in anyway possible. They are like highschool girls.
