This last Saturday I met with a wonderful staff member who took great care of me and we both really clicked. She was friendly, helpful, approachable, and easy to talk to regarding questions. The apartment that I viewed was really nice!
I am moving from Chicago and will have to down grade to a one bedroom since I have to buy a car (going to miss the El train!). The unit I saw was very clean and cozy.
My friends are very jealous over here in Chicago that I found a complex with a dog park, close to World's of Fun, fitness center, pool, hot tub, volleyball court, balcony, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, stove, fridge, and plenty of closet space. I look forward to moving in to my new place in April! Oh yes, another helpful staff member called me with great news about saving 300 dollars on my move-in costs! This staff is awesome, I mean what apartment complex will call a new tenant who lives out of state to tell them they can save you money on your move in date'
For the negative comments... try living in Chicago where all of the units are extremely old and the average one bedroom unit (in a SAFE area) is 800 to 1500 a month!
Also, before people complain about landlords and such, remember that there are homeless and hungry people out on the streets every day. So, stay positive and be thankful for what you have!
