My main problem with this complex is location. Green Hills road is a huge problem when it snows and it could take days before anyone comes to clear out the parking lots. Parking can be hard to find if you don't get home by 5pm.
I'm guessing that the person/people who used to live in my unit were a bit violent because the front door doesn't fit the frame. I have complained several times that the door has to be locked in order to keep it shut and that there needed to be weather-stripping and such done because the air and bugs coming thru are unacceptable. My KCP&L bills can run between $80 and $120 for one month!
Ground floor apartment and there was a leak above my front door and over the shower. Contacted them several times to tell them about it and they assured me that it would be taken care of. Eventually the ceiling began to sag in both rooms and still, nothing. It eventually they both caved in and caused a huge mess. They never did patch the whole in the shower but did the one in the living room, however they did not fix either leak.
People rarely clean up after their dogs and nothing is done to reprimand them.
Also, when I resigned after a year, the office offered me an "upgrade" which boiled down to the following options: track lighting in the bathroom, a ceiling fan in the dining room or tile in your entryway. I had the first two and opted for the tile. Three months later it still hadn't been installed and I contacted the office who assured me that it would be taken care of in the next two weeks, guess what...still nothing.
