Ever since my fiance and I have moved into the Bicycle Club it has been one thing after another!
Our first hint of the things to come was when I asked a neighbor to turn down their car stereo int he parking lot, because my 2 year old son was napping and their stereo was waking him up. He responded be telling me to "F-off" and that I was a racist because I didn't like "his" music.
Also, on far too many other times, my fiance and I have both had to "fight" for parking with all of the parties going on. The reason, the hosts of these parties are not instructing their guest to park in the street like it is written in the lease agreement. We have been "parked in" more times than I can count and she has a "reserved" parking spot!
When parking isn't a terror, the smell of marijuana smoke is EVERYWHERE and thanks to our 3rd floor parking lot view, we see just about every drug deal that happens in the parking lot. When they aren't in the parking lot, the constant flow of unfamiliar traffic in and out of the complex will cue you in on what is going on.
As far as the buildings' quality and maintenece upkeep goes, the washers and dryers are a gamble whether they are working or not. The floorbords in the breezway all show signs of needing replacing. Some of them sag really bad when you step on them. One of my friends FELL THROUGH ONE OF THE BREEZWAYS! He is waiting for the Bicycle Club's insurance company to pay for his medical bills.
As far as the management, they go through leasing agents like water. So if a leasing agent approves a certain arrangement, by the time it comes time for that arrangement to take place, that agent has already been fired. When you ask one of the other agents that are still there, their responce is, "I didn't know anything about this arrangement. It normally would be against our policy, so I can't see why they would approve this." This kind of thing happens all to regularly.
So, would I refer this complex to someone' HELL NO! I wouldn't refer it to my WORST enemy.

Your right about lease agreements that fall through. I was told when I renewed my lease I did not need a co-signer yet that changed.
