Briar Hill The Truth - Pro's and Con's From: Sleeplesskc Date posted: 8/9/2007 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2007   The truth from about Briar Hill - pros and cons, as I just moved out less than two months ago. Pro's Management - The managers name is Karen and the assistant manager is Andria, both are professional and courteous. Apartments - I found the cost very reasonable for a one bedroom especially with the square footage. The reserved parking spot was a bonus! Pool - Clean Property - The grounds are kept up, no trash laying around. Maintenance - GREAT!!! Anytime I had a problem, it was fixed that day on rare occasions within 24 hours. Con's Management - Rule Sticklers, but they need to be. Apartments - occasionally do have water bugs, but that is all I personally ever experienced. Pool - Residence bring far to many guests and do not adhere to the 2 guests max per apartment. Also pool closed on Mondays. Property - You do have a few careless dog owner, myself included. However I always walked them away from the apartments. It's not the apartments fault and they gave me a written warning about it. Maintenance - I can't say anything bad, they are far superior to any place else I've lived. Why am I posting this review' I was researching other apartment and signed up for apartmentratings a few months back. I had forgotten all about it until I received an email from apartmentratings.com about a new posting. The thing that puzzles me the most, I had lived at Briar Hill for over 4 years and had the same Manager (Karen), therefore I don't understand the reviews on management changing or residents not knowing who the manager is. The manager has business cards in the office and a monthly news letter goes out to all residence with the staffs names and title. Every apartment complex has pro's and con's. Would I live here again' Yes The main two reasons for me leaving Briar Hill was because I did not have a dishwasher or a washer & dryer in my one bedroom apartment.
