This review is a clear competing apartment plant. I've lived here 2 years and have never even heard of any car robberies. Alarms are on the front and porch doors. The parking lot is patrolled all night long with a security company. And noise? I've had no problems. Most of the first year I lived here, I worked nights and slept days and had no problems, and when I got a daytime job there wasn't any noise at night either. My neighbors can't hear me and I can't hear them.

I totally agree with the review from kcmalkav, ok so i have only lived in these apartments for a month but they are the NICEST apartments i have lived in by FAR! There are Security alarms and I have seen them patrol the apartments on FOOT and in the car. I have a Ground Floor apartment and VERY RARELY do i hear my upstairs neighbors, we even had a small party when we moved in (which did get a little loud) and my husband went and talked to the neighbors and NONE of them heard anything! The Grounds are kept beautifully and so FAR ITS BEEN NOTHING BUT GREAT!

Curious that this reviewer said he/she lived here "in the past", when they also said they lived here from 2008-2008 and the review was posted in April 2008. Apparently they only lived here for 4 months or less between January and April, and that counts as "in the past"....? A plant by a competiting apartment sounds likely unless this reviewer did not fill out the dates correctly...
Not sure about the rest of this review, but there have been car break-ins at Camden. Just before I moved out in May 2007, several cars were broken into one morning and stereos were stolen. I know at least two other people who lived in Camden and had their car stereos stolen that day! Camden did not have any security patrolling the area at the time; maybe these break-ins prompted them to hire security? (Assuming the other comments are correct that there is security now? I wouldn't know.) Also, by default the alarms only make noise when an intrusion is detected -- you still need to pay for a service such as ADT if you want the alarms to automatically call the police!
However, we had little problems with noisy neighbors (we could only hear really loud noises like dogs barking or people yelling, which fortunately did not happen often) and we didn't have any problems with maintenance, except for drafy window seals.
