I have also lived here since the building opened in 2002. I have never had a major problem with noise, although you do hear some music and people on the weekends & at night, but it is never loud enough to be disturbing. The staff is courteous and I have never had a problem with maintenance or security. The gated access is KEY on Independence Ave, and I know of no incidents since the building opened. It is really close to I-35/29 and I-70, so getting on/off the highway is very easy. If you are a med student at UHSCOM, the location can't be beat. The floor plans are not super imaginative, but they are efficient and easy to take care of when you are busy with the rest of your life. My only complaint is that they are a little pricey for the area and square footage, but I guess that's the price for being safe & close!
