I love it here. It is safe and relatively cheap. The complex pays for all the utilities except heating and cooling of your apartment, which makes the rent rate well worth it! It was a hospital before becoming an apartment building so something things could have been done differently (the hallways are more than 6 feet wide! but the windows have no screens and are only a single layer of glass) but considering the history of the building I am very impressed by the apartments themselves. They have a security guard work every night so if you need help you can call them and they will be there really quickly! You can hear any thing in your apartment that is going on in the hall and visa versa, but I have NEVER heard my neighbors though the walls. The only thing that I can even view as a complaint is the fact that the internet in the library on the 5th floor has troubles esp. on weekends so you have to go all weekend with out internet. This isn't really a problem if you are student at KCUMB with a laptop though because school has internet and all you have to do is walk over.
