In keeping the review small enough. I will stick to the facts of this review only.

PARKING: The are at 100% now, there is "ZERO" public parking. people are having to park in the STREET. Cars have been stolen right out from under them. Thre is no secure parking what so ever. Oh sure you can pay for there 60.00 a month parking witch is not assigned so you may have to park to far from you apt. people pulling in behind you who don't don't have a permit, oh yeah they don't even have permits to show who parks there or not. "already abandon cars in the garage and parking lots", doors don't always shut and not secure. people put rocks in the door ways and garage sensors to keep them open.

NOISE: This is not a community living for everyone. This is a dormatory for young wild teenagers and drunks. Walls are barly insolated you can hear casual coversations at nite. Drywall is to thin. Hallways noice is bad "at times"

GROUNDS: Worst I've ever seen! Beer cans, beer bottles and ciggerette butt city! You can't walk hardly anywhere with out seeing if not all but one of the above anywhere you walk. Ciggerette butts on the roof, pool, hallway, elevators, parking lots or grass. Same with either beer cans or beer bottles. THEY ARE EVERYWHERE. Grass is brown or no grass by the lobby entrace becuase of all the dog urin or dog poo! no dog depots for residents to use. the hole place is DISCUSTING!!

SAFETY: Police have been dispatched from april (when they opened) have been out 20 times, for resident violence, drunken behavior, loud noise. Cars and mopeds have been stolen, community couch was taken from the lobby. Flat screen TV's that was was going to be in the exersise room...now we don't even get that now! Copper tubes for A/C units where stolen. we didn't have A/C when we moved in for almost a month. Rocks in front of enterence doors where outside people can get in. Call box is on the inside of the building and not on the outside. people drink on the roof top pool where I can't take my own children to the nasty behavior! My children should'nt have to see that!

CONSTRUCTION: I don't know who designed this building or did the constuction. its pretty shotty work at best. Water leaks all over the building. Hallways, inside lofts and cealings. shelves in closets fall down from the concreat walls. poor closet space and shelving. It's that cheap white wire stuff you get from Wal-mart.

MAINTENANCE: Doing the best they can for one person out of 224 lofts. However poorly done work, not enough experence. Pool has been close at least once by the health department when i came up one morning with my children.

STAFF: Manager is a nice young lady. but does not take any interest in community conserns or the general safty of all residents. She allows this communal frat house to go on.

OVERALL: Can it be a nice building and loft style living' YES. has it been. NO. If this keeps up, I give this complex 10 years and it will be the new River Market ghetto of Kansas city with out a doubt! Its a discrace of the loft community in the downtown river market area, who work so hard to make downtown and upcomming living community of people. People say "OH YOU LIVE IN A LOFT" in what you would expect of high guality living' TRUST ME ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE.

Yes its pretty accurate but please dont talk about ghetto until you know how to spell. Also most of the problems are the animals that live there. Low income housing thats what you get

Please don't talk about the animals that live here. I live here with two animals and I have exactly the same problems. The problems come from the people who do not know how to take care of their animals. How difficult is it to take your animals away from the building so we can have a nice lawn, pick up your animals waste, and please do not leave any animals waste in the hallways. If you are going to have animals, be RESPONSIBLE, which I am with mine! You will always see me picking up my dogs' poop!

I was considering moving into this place because the advertising for it was alluring, but after reading such recent reviews of such horrible living experiences, I'm sure I won't move in here. Has anyone contacted the onwer about the irresponsible manager? I think I will just to let them know that I won't be moving in because of that mess. Thanks for the honest reviews; you saved me the heartache you went through yourselves.

For some reason, the managers do not stay too long. Hhmmmm? Some of the problem might be at the owner's level. I wouldn't want to deal with this mess. Seems like there should be SEVERAL office personel to handle such a place.

I came across this review today and disagree with all the comments posted. In the past there were problems due to certain tenants who are no longer living here. Now every issue mentioned above has been addresses, at least from what I've seen. More importantly, if the person who wrote this review would like how to read and write, my 3rd grade cousin can bring a "shadow" to school once a month. Might be a good idea to avoid any future embarrassing postings.

Have you ever thought about having channel 5 or 9 news do a special on this place and how bad the living conditions are?? Sometimes you have to take measures like that to get the staff to make changes.
