I have now lived at Cold Storage Lofts for an entire year and I have seen the place through three management changes in that time period. So far, I have been VERY unsatisfied with management. None of the phone calls that I have ever placed to the office have been returned. Our washer has been leaking for 2 months and has never been fixed. The residents are dirty and leave dog ---- all over the halls, smoke in the halls, and refuse to put their trash in the chute and leave it in the trash room instead. The walls are paper thin, don't believe them in the visit when they tell you that they are not. Management is also incredibly rude to me whenever I come to the office and never seems to be actually listening to what I am saying. They do not notify you when you receive packages in the mail and parking is a disaster.
HOWEVER.
For the budget I am on and the location I need to be in, this was the best I could find. I do safe here even though I am in downtown and it is really nice to have a washer and dryer in your unit. It is super close to all major highways and City Market is a great place to live by.
Overall, if you can afford to live somewhere else, do so. If not, don't be entirely discourages from all the bad reviews. It seems that enjoying your time at CSL depends on what neighbors you end up with and how patient you can be. Not everything is bad and it could be a lot worse at other places!
