WHAT'S NEXT' I'll tell you what's next...
I believe that hell is next. Fountain View isn't far from what I have imagined hell to be. When I originally moved here I was shown a completely different side of things. Crap was dictated to me right out a phucking book like
"Our complex offers excellent security. We always have at least two officers on duty.
1. They may have officers on duty but what are these officers doing. They have their thumbs up their asses. I travel with my company very frequently all over the country. I have stayed in at least half a dozen apartments since starting my career. I have stayed in less than adequate places but this is the absolute worst place ever. I am in talks right now with suing Fountain View on the plaza for the lack of safety presented. My car has been broken into twice since moving here 6 months ago. The first time I lost some very important business documents that could have potentially harmed our firm. The damage cost me over two thousand dollars. The second time I had nothing in plain view. My wallet was under the seat and that was stolen. Don't tell me that my car won't get burglarized if I don't keep anything in plain view because the fact is Fountain View should be making efforts to prevent people gaining access to burglarize anything. As long as I have lived here the broken 'security fence' has been leaning against a corner doing nothing to stop anyone. In place of that fence they may as well have set up a sign saying "FREE VALUABLES LOCATED IN THE GARAGES!" Instead, they place signs telling us our guest parking has been removed indefinitely. The fact that a complex has security guards doesn't mean poop to me when all they do is use their efforts to ticket people. Security' More like a waste of money. They need to fire security guards who don't to anything and use their worthless salaries to make some real developments in the security of this place. A couple of well placed cameras may have lent me the knowledge of the perpetrator(s) who broke into my car.
2.During my tour of this place I was told about the 'wonderful' guest parking. They tried to avoid letting me actually see that the guest parking was unavailable. I should have said no to this place from the start. It was a pretty good indicator how bad things were when the staff member escorting me around actually moved in front of the sign stating that guest parking was removed indefinitely deliberately to block my view. That is known as a lie of omission because their concern was getting another customer by hiding the truth. Are you joking. I decided to let it slide when he once again lied to me and told me that it would be back in about a week. It wasn't back for 4 months!!!! I have spoken to my neighbors about this and they tell me that apparently the construction they were doing actually lasted over a year in total. And what was taking so much time and manpower' The drilling of a few lines on the phucking pavement. I shudder to think of what might happen during their next pointless construction project. Oh, and by the way. Management has got to think of a better excuse for their complete laziness than telling people that the reason the security bar at the entrance wasn't fixed yet because they were in talks with contractors. A team of two maintenance men could put that wooden post back together. Not a hired company. In fact, if I were drunk enough I probably would have gone down there and fixed the damn thing myself.
3. Let's see what's next on the schit list' Oh, of course. During my 'wonderful' tour, I was enlightened with the knowledge that there was a workout room and spa. Apparently they forgot to tell me that the steam room was broken. It still doesn't work. Apparently maintenance exists in the form of management calling some part time guy in Kentucky and having him come down to repair things because God knows they don't have any sort of reliable maintenance workers. Speaking of maintenance, my guide told me that if we ever needed repairs done on our apartment it would be completed within a week. I needed a sink repaired from day one and three months later after requesting no less than 6 times, they sent a person up to look at the sink. That was all he did. He looked at it left and didn't come back for a couple of weeks while I wasn't there. I seriously have a problem with some unshaven, minimum wage earning slack jawed yokel who's mad at the world coming into my 'home' while I am not there. Once again, if they spent as much time improving this complex as ticketing cars in the unused guest parking, this place would be the highest rated apartment complex on EARTH. That's how much effort they waste.
4. This post is beginning to get a little long so I will only cover one more thing. I definitely feel that I have saved the best for last so allow me now to go on a little rampage against the management and staff of this -----'s ------- of a complex. One thing my guide told me that I will never forget word for word is this: "Our office is always prepared to assist the tenants in any way possible to make their stay here as close to perfect as possible. OH how I wish to rip that man's tongue out right now and shove it up his ass. I hope he reads this because I am not joking around. I have never encountered a more incompetent group of individuals in my entire life. Not until I decided to live here! I have spoken to the manager many times when I felt the staff wasn't serving me properly and I am not going to name any names, but let me just say that if there is one thing I have learned it's this: Never expect to be assisted by anyone at this complex but always expect disrespect, especially coming from the manager. I won't even mention the gender of the manager just to show what little respect I still retain for that person but the manager is one of the rudest people I have ever met. And as an attorney I deal with some very bad people. The manager once laughed in my face when I mentioned how frustrated I was at having my wallet stolen out of my car. When I left the office, I told this to a member of staff and he told me that the manager is a bad person and lies to the tenants. That was the only time I have ever been in agreement with a member of the staff. I haven't seen that man anymore but the others who I have seen are almost as bad as the manager. They know me by my face now so they don't put up a facade when I come in but whenever someone else walks in they smile their asses off until that person requests something. The staff of this complex serve noone and serve no purpose in life. There is one individual who will specifically be mentioned in my report I have been compiling for the suit I will be bringing against this place. I told this man that I didn't appreciate his tone about an issue my neighbors and I were having with noise and as nobody was around I told him my problem was his joke of a complex. He then threatened me physically and as I had a tape recorder on me at the time. I have some very precious evidence indeed. I hate this place and I hate the people and I will most assuredly be accompanied by many others should I need them. I will do what I have to to ensure the end of this hell on earth and I am taking steps right now to ensure that everyone wronged by this place will be reimbursed for the nightmares that they have been through. FOUNTAIN VIEW ON THE PLAZA BEWARE. A time of reckoning is at hand, and in the end you will be the ones who suffer, And your location near the plaza won't save you!
